We created this short animated film based on the Mexican Fisherman parable using a fully GenAI-driven workflow, bringing a long-standing idea to life with speed and creative flexibility. Visual development began with watercolor-style character design in MidJourney, followed by a production pipeline that leveraged FilmSpark with Nano Banana to propagate a consistent visual style across characters, environments, and props with precise art direction and control. Still styleframes were created during early production, then edited into an animatic in DaVinci Resolve with AI-generated voice performances via ElevenLabs and music composed in Udio. Final shots were produced using a combination of Seedance 1.0 Pro for wide shots, Veo3 for dialogue-driven sequences with lip-sync, and Kling 2.1 Pro for seamless transitions, with additional effects generated using Wan 2.2. The finished three-minute animated film was completed in a few weeks, from concept through completion, demonstrating how emerging AI pipelines can dramatically compress production timelines while maintaining a high level of creative control.
