Lucid Motors partnered with Swordfish to prototype and craft interactive UX touch-control animations across every in-car display surface, ensuring the digital experience matched the brand’s promise of refined luxury. Every tap, swipe, and transition was designed to feel elegant and responsive while operating within the practical constraints of onboard display logic, including RAM and processor speed. Working toward an aggressive reveal deadline, our team embedded as a true extension of Lucid’s design group, holding daily syncs to align goals and solve challenges collaboratively. We delivered discrete motion UX interactions, established motion style guidelines, and developed custom tools including After Effects plugins to empower Lucid’s internal team to maintain and evolve the experience long after launch.
